IIIF Drag-n-dropIIIF Manifest

Armandus de Bellovisu (Armand de Belvezer) (d. 1334) was a Dominican friar. This work, entitled De Declaratione difficilium terminorum tam theologie quam philosophie ac logice (On the Definitions of Difficult Terms in Theology, Philosophy and Logic) is one of a few known to have been his. It is a useful handbook, with a list of contents (Tituli capitulorum) and an alphabetical index (Tabula alphabetica)

Michael Wenssler enrolled at Basel University in 1462, and became a printer ten years later. Between c. 1472 and 1491 his speciality was the printing of liturgical and law books. Despite his success during this period, he had to leave Basel in 1491. After that, he was involved in printing businesses in Cluny, Mâcon, and Lyon. He died before 1512.
